Kildare Schools Poster Competition

The aim of the competition is for individual students to design an A3 poster which best illustrates the theme: My Favourite Waterbody. The theme was chosen to highlight the connection people have with their favourite river/ lake/ or beach. The poster can be a combination of words and illustrations or just illustrations. Posters must have the name and class of the student on the reverse side of the poster (see Terms & Conditions below) and we would like to know why the artist loves this particular waterbody so please feel free to include a few lines in pencil on the back.

Why Should Your School Get Involved
• Students get a chance to showcase their favourite waterbody and why it’s special to them.
• It is a chance for schools and community groups to develop connections and assist each other in their environmental efforts.
• Winning students receive a voucher and the overall winners’ schools receive €100 for their schools.
• This is an action schools can carry out as part of their work on the Green-Schools Water theme: Step 6 Informing and Involving.
